5/20 - The Government of Guatemela appoints new Consul General in Phoenix, the Hon. Jimena Diaz.

5/10 - City of Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton visits Solar Impulse at Sky Harbor. The Consular Corps of Arizona begins its Summer recess and resumes meetings in late August. Have a wonderful Summer!

5/9 - CCAZ presented the first annual Governor's Scholarship Awards along with Governor Jan Brewer and members of the CCAZ at the Executive Tower. The $15,000 award went to Madeline Sands and $1,000 to Adi Wiezel both outstanding students that graduated from ASU Honor's College and pursuing graduate studies at the same institution. They were joined by family and friends.

5/8 - The Government of South Korea appoints Honorary Consul in Arizona, the Hon. Bob Walkup, Former Mayor of Tucson.

5/7 - The Government of Malta appoints Honorary Consul in Arizona, the Hon. Henry Cappello.

5/6 - CCAZ co-hosted SOLAR IMPULSE at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. One hundred special guests attended the event including Gov. Jan Brewer, Secretary of State Ken Bennett, State Treasurer Doug Ducey, Ambassador Barbara Barrett, industry leaders and members of the CCAZ.
